
Remember the Dream: A Day to Celebrate Dr. King
Celebrate Dr. King during “Remember the Dream: A Day Honoring Dr. King” at the National Museum of African American History and Culture on Monday, January 19, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participate in drop-in activities throughout the museum, visit the Typewriter Poets to receive a personalized poem, and join in a service project and a presentation on floral art.
Families can celebrate at Dr. King’s birthday party on the fourth floor with creative crafts, balloon art, and a sing-along to Stevie Wonder’s “Happy Birthday.” Experience live musical performances by Rex Carnegie and the House Band in Heritage Hall at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., honoring Dr. King’s legacy through music.
